I wish I'd arrived earlier but I missed the basement cultural exhibit for lack of signage. Information on Puglia... missed it! Perhaps more people behind the food kiosks would have kept the lines shorter, and as the weather is hard to take, easier on attendees. I would have been happier to pay the requested prices for more "special, hard to find food". I paid $5 for a hot-dog bun with a grilled sausage, no dressing. THe flavors of gelato were not to be seeing, so after my long wait, I had to go for sorbets, $4.00 kids'size. The music was better than the show brought up by the group of young girls. What was that???!!!! I wanted an opportunity for an immersion into a lively & culturally rich youthful Italian atmosphere.
I am italian, I come from Puglia and, let me tell you, no more than stereotypes today at Festa Italiana. Very bad music choice (who listen to that in Italy???). Also, I've never seen before the food they were serving!!!
