The Textile Museum is teaming up with the Pink Line Project to bid sayonara to its exhibition of avant-garde clothing, "Contemporary Japanese Fashion: The Mary Baskett Collection," with a bash that's as cool as the show's edgy designs.
For the party -- dubbed the "Hapi Hapi Hour" -- the museum will light up its secluded garden with lanterns; bring in a band, a DJ and a sushi and sake bar; and host tours of the exhibit (which features to-die-for garments by the likes of Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons). The exhibit closes Sunday.
