It's Official: Bruce Springsteen to Headline Obama's Sunday Concert

As the Post's Lena H. Sun first reported last week, Bruce Springsteen will be among the headliners at Obama's welcome concert on the National Mall Sunday. The event will be near at the Lincoln Memorial and it will feature performances by: Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, U2, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Renee Fleming, Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, Heather Headley, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles, John Mellencamp, Usher Raymond IV, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, will.i.am, and Stevie Wonder.

The concert, which will be televised live by HBO, is free and open to the public. The title of the event is: WE ARE ONE: THE OBAMA INAUGURAL CELEBRATION AT THE LINCOLN MEMORIAL,

Among those reading historical passages, according to the Presidential Inaugural Committee Web site, will be Jamie Foxx, Martin Luther King III, Queen Latifah and Denzel Washington. The Rt. Reverend V. Gene Robinson will give the invocation.
