Meadowside Nature Center

The center offers hiking trails and hands-on activities for kids, plus owls, hawks and a bald eagle.

Winter Solstice Campfire

Families will learn how to make lanterns while listening to winter tale and enjoying marshmallow treats. Best for age 3 and older.

Winter Bird Bingo

Every season brings new birds. Stop by the Nature Center and get a bird bingo card, then hit the trails and search for feathered friends. Share what you find with the Naturalist staff and win a prize! Please register and pay for all attendees. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Register at - 301951. 6 & up

Winter Luminaries

Learn how to make a handcrafted lantern. Best for ages 7 to 10.

A Day of Winter Fun

Spend a winter's day hiking trails, cooking over an open fire and conducting a few icy experiments. Lunch and a snack are included. Best for ages 6 to 10.

Otus Rockin' New Year

Make noisemakers, party hats, and other seasonal crafts to ring in the New Year. Event includes music, dancing, free cider and more. Best for ages 2 to 12.

New Year's Rocks

A kid's activity centered around rocks. Best for age 4 and older.
