National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade

Editorial Review

Enjoy floats, balloons and bands from across the nation and around the world. The National Cherry Blossom Festival All-Star Tap Dance Team and Choir and Cherry Blossom queens from the United States and Japan will take part in the parade. Clowns, horses and antique cars will also be a part of Washington's largest annual spectator event.

"Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek serves as the grand marshal of the parade. Entertainment comes from former "American Idol" contestant Kimberly Locke, disco singer Thelma Houston, tween idol Joey Page and Miss American Katie Stam. Elmo and Sesame Street characters will be on hand to entertain the kids.

There will also be song-and-dance numbers from the Broadway productions "Chicago" and "Mama Mia."

The parade is free to the public, but reserved grandstand seats are $15 and are available through Ticketmaster by calling 202-397-7328.
