National Memorial Day Concert and Parade

Please note: This event has already occurred.
It's not Memorial Day in Washington without well-wishes from Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna, the perennial hosts of the National Symphony Orchestra's salute to America's servicemen and women. The 90-minute concert begins Sunday at 8 p.m. and will feature performances by B.B. King, Kris Allen, Yolanda Adams and others near the West Lawn of the U.S Capitol Building, Pennsylvania Avenue and First Street NW. Gates open at 5 p.m. The National Memorial Day Parade, on Monday, begins at 2 p.m. and proceeds down Constitution Avenue between Seventh and 17th streets NW.
