Noam Chomsky

Please note: This event has already occurred.
No matter how you feel about Noam Chomsky's ideology, it's hard to pick a time in recent memory when the iconoclastic intellectual's anarchist, anti-capitalist critiques have been as widely appropriated as they are through the continuing relevance of the Occupy movement. The linguistics professor will deliver one of the University of Maryland's Dean's Lectures at 7 p.m. Also worth putting on your calendar: David Simon, creator of "The Wire" and "Treme," will hold court in the same fashion on March 1 at 5 p.m. At the Gildenhorn Recital Hall.
