Twenty-five of the area's top food trucks gather in the large parking lot between the Bullpen and Das Bullpen for this festival, the fifth in the series. The idea is simple: Grab something to eat from a truck, grab a seat at a picnic table with your friends, listen to live music, maybe grab a beer or glass of wine from the Bullpen bars, which will be open all day.

Be warned: Truckeroo gets very crowded around noon to 1 p.m. and again right after work, so lines may be long. Also, some trucks close in the late afternoon to get ready for the expected "dinner" rush. Thankfully, there are plenty of alternatives.

Because it's Halloween, Truckeroo is being recast as "Truckerboo," with Halloween-themed eats and two costume contests: a 5 p.m. contest for kids, with a $200 cash prize for best outfit, and one for adults at 11 p.m., with $500 for the best group costume and $250 for the best individual outfit.
