This winery, on a massive estate near Harpers Ferry, offers a variety of wines for sampling. The speciality here are the reds; be sure to taste the merlot and nebbiolo.
Big place, really busy. The wines were mostly good. But the pretty patio is reserved for "members" with a lumpy, grassy area with some tables for the rest of us (no one was sitting on the patio while we were there). Bring your own food if you want to picnic, their food selection is tiny, pathetic and over-priced. Points for well-versed pourers.
