We think of it as 'our farm' but the owners of Homestead Farm may think otherwise. As soon as the ice and snow of Winter has melted, we head out to "our farm". It's late May and the greenhouse basil and parsley plants look good. The strawberries are ripe and the picking is good. Tart cherries (my fav) are ready in June, then come peaches and Blackberries. July brings ALL that delicious mass of veggies (sweet corn, onions, squash, beets, etc) with tomatoes always later than they should be. Then pyo (pick-your-own) apples and pumpkins. "Our farm" is getting more and more popular so, never mind... don't pay attention to this... stay home... go to Butlers or Larriland... that's more your type of place... yea.
