Simon Vintage Furniture & Homegoods

Editorial Review

If you've ever wondered what’s up with the bubbles drifting through the air near the intersection of Ninth and U Streets NW some afternoons, that's Simon Vintage. The funny spectacle seems like a fitting invitation from the quirky and eclectic shop, although make no mistake: There are some enviable retro home goods inside.

The cramped two-floor space brims with mid-century glassware, teak end tables, decorative settees and still-life paintings. Whether you're interested in a Hollywood regency aesthetic, shabby chic or something retro-futuristic, you'll probably find yourself attempting and failing to keep your credit card in your wallet.

The nearby District Flea might be getting all of the buzz lately with its trove of vintage finds, but once that transitory market has come and gone, Simon will still be around with its well-curated selection.
