Editorial Review

Tastings ($10) are offered seven days a week, but for something really special, go in for the premier, hour-plus tastings held regularly on weekends. Sommeliers lead tasters through several wines not on the usual tasting menu, in a private space away from the busy main tasting room. As a bonus, the wines are paired with small bites. Admission to that tasting is $20 and reservations are highly recommended. In 2011, the winery moved away from large festivals to focus on its summer concert series and tasting room events. It remains child-friendly and dog-friendly (though dogs are not allowed in the tasting room). -- Lavanya Ramanathan (Aug. 2011)
