Great Party 'Space' - a hidden gem

My friends and I recently hosted a 25th birthday party at The Space. The owner was very nice, and all of the staff were extremely gracious and welcomed our large party (approx 30+ guests). The music was good and the ambiance was amazing... I felt like I was at a very elegant, yet extremely relaxed and fun house party. The open deck is great for a warm night. The only downfall of The Space is it's hidden entrance...you have to know what you're looking for (the little red fence). Other than that... I would definitely recommend this venue for large party gatherings or a laid back evening with friends.

Rude and illegal

I live down the street from The Space. I used to frequent it often, however, in recent months, things have changed. The owners are rude (one was arrested for verbally assaulting a friend in front of police), and they are operating illegally. They have people on their back deck drinking, which it is not zoned for. They do not care about the neighborhood. They are violating their voluntary agreement with neighbors regarding sound and hours. DO NOT patronize The Space.
