Parking
Hourly: In front of the main terminal. $4 per hour, up to $36 per 24 hours. No charge if exiting within the first 20 minutes.
Daily: In the two garages closest to the terminal. Garage 1 is connected to the terminal via an underground passageway; Garage 2 is connected to the terminal's third level by a bridge. $5 per hour, up to $15 per 24 hours. No charge if exiting within the first 20 minutes.
Long-term/economy (Blue, Green, Gold and Purple lots along Rudder Road): $3 per hour, up to $9 per 24 hours. No charge if exiting within the first 20 minutes. Free shuttle to terminal approximately every 15 minutes (about a five-minute ride). A traffic light was recently installed on Rudder Road to allow drivers an easier exit from the economy lots.
Valet parking: Available daily through hourly parking (follow signs) in front of the main terminal, 24 hours a day: $30 for the first 24 hours, $17 each additional day (703-572-4540). Or, for quick exit from the lot, take your parking ticket with you to pay at the PAY & GO machines in the lower level of the Main Terminal near the east and west exit doors and on the pedestrian bridge of Garage 2.

Getting There
By bus: Metrobus runs a D.C.-Dulles bus (No. 5A) that originates at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro station and stops at the Rosslyn Metro station, the Tysons-Westpark Transit Station (at Jones Branch Drive and Spring Hill Road in McLean) and the Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride Lot (on Sunrise Valley Drive in Fairfax). Buses depart L'Enfant Plaza hourly from 5:33 a.m. to 10:37 p.m. daily. Buses depart Dulles hourly from 6:30 a.m. to 11:40 p.m. daily. The trip to/from L'Enfant Plaza takes 56 minutes and costs $3 each way. Info: 202-637-7000, http://www.metroopensdoors.com/ . In Loudoun County, Virginia Transit also offers hourly service weekdays on its Dulles to Dulles Connector, between the airport and Dulles Town Center at routes 7 and 28, with five stops in between. By subway/bus: Washington Flyer express bus service travels from the West Falls Church Metro station to Dulles every 30 minutes starting at 6:15 a.m. weekdays and 8:15 a.m. weekends until 10:45 p.m. daily. Buses depart Dulles every 30 minutes starting at 5:45 a.m. weekdays and 7:45 a.m. weekends and holidays until 10:15 p.m. daily. The trip is 25 minutes and costs $8 one way or $14 round trip. By taxi: Fares are about $50 one way from downtown D.C., $50 from Reagan National Airport, $42 from Bethesda, $35 from West Falls Church Metro station and $95 from BWI.
