This theatre is in better shape than when it was managed by AMC. The conversion to stadium seating was nice and it is cleaner because of it. Patrons everywhere have become more rude especially when using their cellphones but the management is attentive when the problem is brought to there attention. Most importantly, the pricing is more fair than when visiting one of the "big chain" theatres. I will be taking my family back again.
This place needs an overhaul! It's a dump. The smell was so distacting, I could barely focus on the movie.
I can't believe that the Washington Post gave this theater four stars. Unless things have changed recently, this theater is a dump, as is the Greenbelt Plaza Mall in general. The last time we tried to see a movie there, however, was the worst, and the reason we won't be going back. A young family with two kids behind us thought it would be funny to make their phone go off repeatedly (grrreat parenting/example they're setting for their kids, eh?) and became vulgar when another family asked them to turn off the phone. Until the place gets cleaned up and their patrons become a little more civilized, we won't be going back.
