Our Review

This plaza in Arlington contains the Arlington County Detention Center, police headquarters, the county courthouse and a decent place to see a movie.

The eight houses are on three levels and all include SDDS sound. The largest theater has a big screen with 383 comfortable seats and THX certification. Two theaters with medium-size screens have DTS sound and seat 226. The other theaters have smaller screens and seating capacities of 123 to 180.

AMC Courthouse 8 is literally steps away from the Orange Line's Court House station. For drivers, a large underground parking garage is free to moviegoers after 5 p.m.

If you want to get a bite to eat, the plaza and nearby Wilson Boulevard offer plenty of restaurants.
