The owners of the Laurel Town Center Cinemas reopened this theater in the Laurel Shopping Center (where George Wallace was shot) in June 2000. The previous owner, Hoyts, closed the six-screen venue in October 1999.
The venue also shows Indian films. The two largest auditoriums can handle 400 and 355 patrons. Both theaters have Dolby Digital sound. The seating capacity of the other theaters quickly diminishes from 263 to 113.
Parking is free, but with Toys R Us, Chuck E. Cheese and Giant sharing the shopping center, you'll find yourself driving around to find an open spot on weekends. Try the small lot behind the theater when things are crowded.
