This Alexandria cinema shows first-run flicks with digital sound in a stadium-seating atmosphere.
The concession stand at this place needs fixing. I purchased "hot food" and was told that it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait. Well it took more than 30 minutes, causing me to miss the beginning of the movie. My food was cold, in some cases just barely thawed. I had family that ordered after me (same line, same order) that received their food before me. The orders came out one at a time with several minutes wait between each order. This is not a good system for a movie theater and needs to be changed.
I switched from Ballston to Potomac Yard for Met HD performances for the parking and easy access to the theater. Unfortunately, PY does not change the auditorium marquee for Met performances; management posts whatever current film is showing (usually children's films) on the marquee and parents/children file in throughout the performance -- very distracting! Changing the marquee on the auditorium would remedy this!! Go elsewhere if you do not appreciate kids interrupting your Met performance.
