Put a Helmet on those Expectations...

Visually out of this world, but very pedestrian in everything else. Only a cursory attention to detail and the laws of physics keeps the script moving along. Some points to ponder: "20,000mph is six times faster than a rifle bullet", "Shuttles have extra oxygen", "Bungie effects", "What's pulling George?", "90 minutes? really?", "Inertia", "Frostbite on delicate ears and noses", "Out-of-this-World snarkiness", "Tears and snot in zero-g", "The lack of storage space on space stations", "Fire causes smoke", and "Thank God romantic Italians don't run a space program!" In short, "Gravity" is this generations equivalent of 1988's "The Bear": Visually stunning, highly reviewed, overly acted, and soon forgotten.
