Hating Breitbart

Average Reader Rating

Awesome!!!

You have to see this movie!...this is a "must see" documentary! This movie exposes the bias, lies, deception, and corruption of the left and the main stream media. And, when you read the negative posts, on this website about this movie, you will see that the title of the movie is SO appropriate!

Simply awesome!

What can I say, great movie.

LEFTISTS on the Run

As usual Leftists stopping the truth bout their hateful speech, writing and lies. Removing reviews proves the movie is not only factual, but honestly filmed. Shame on the LEFTISTS that claim to be fair minded. Shame.

Will Buy It on DVD!

This is a great movie! I'm planning on buying it on DVD when it comes out!!

Proving the point of the movie.

Reports that Washington Post has been deleting favorable reviews of this documentary sort of prove the point the movie is trying to make. Breitbart knew that systemic media bias is a problem in modern journalism and he spent his life combatting the bias. The best part is when Breitbart hijacked Anthony Weiner's press conference.

Truth

Politico & WP can't stop people seeing this!

Another WAPO fail

Andrew Breitbart will go down in history as one of the "founding fathers" of the movement that restores this country to greatness I wish I could pretend to be surprised that WAPO would delete positive reviews of this film, but I've frequented this site long enough to know that this is standard operating procedure. This is what Warren Buffet's money buys, and what Fred Hiatt endorses

Breitbart Fan or Not...

Irregardless of my stance on Breitbart, this was an excellent documentary. Solid & comprehensive.

Driven to find the truth

All he wanted was truth and fairness. He was fearless when it came to getting answers and shining a light on lies and corruption. The film shows how he went about persueing truth. Do yourself a favor, see this film and learn and the lengths that Andrew went to, to get the truth. You may not like his result, but they are true. There are reviews here that call Andrew a liar; these are from people that haven't seen the film and have never spent any time paying attention to his work. You might not like the results of work; but he was not a liar, EVER! What's really sad here is a man whose paid to review films letting his ideology get in the way of doing his job. Mark Jenkins should be let go for the biased hatchet job he did on this film.

WaPo deleted reader reviews 3 times

The WaPo has deleted the reader reviews 3 times. How exactly does this happen? If the entire site kept crashing I could understand, but Hating Breitbart seems to be the only target of the malevolent tech gods...

Loving Breitbart

I loved this movie. Profane &socially libertarian Breitbart fits no stereotype of a conservative. The film shows his "two emotions: jocularity, and righteous indignation" toward the media biased against conservatives.Surprising that this former leftist lived quietly as a conservative until reluctantly becoming more public the last few years of his life. The film retells the false "Tea Party racism" attacks, & the ACORN &NAACP exposes. It vindicates Breitbart, showing how the media sliced & diced his NAACP/Sherrod video &news story to take them out of context to smear him.I didn't discover Breitbart and his legacy until after his untimely death. He left huge footprints for us to follow in revealing the truth, and also the hypocrisy of the left.

Is the Washington Post "Hating Breitbart"?

In modern times there have been few who have so enraged a political party as Andrew Breitbart. How could one man turn a political following into a mob in which every member foams at the mouth while spewing hate, lies, and shame? Hating Breitbart answers this question and shows the viewers the hidden history of the Modern American Left. I personally enjoyed this film and would highly recommend it to just about anyone. The views and commentary of Breitbart's friends and family were excellent and the film managed to give a documentary the "spark" that most do not share. Eat your heart out Michael Moore, because your monopoly on documentaries is over.

Loving America

Wapo really has no clue about this movie as they only promote socialist/communist ideas through their newspaper. This movie is about an American loving America the way it was founded. Must see for anyone who believes in the concepts of freedom and liberty.

0 Stars Should Be Possible

This "documentary" is nothing but lies, and it's shameful to call it a documentary at all. It appears the Breitbart "army" of racists is out to whitewash his image, though, and are spamming the comment site here. I'll say no more, those neo-nazis can rot in hell.

Going to see for sure now

Have not seen this film yet in Colorado, but after reading all of the reviews that have been removed here 2-3 times I certainly will now. You're proving Breitbarts point... Good Promo WAPO!

Thank You Andrew Breitbart, RIP

The Film portrayed Andrew Breitbart as someone who had a passion for life, defending conservative values and exposing the mainstream media's bias. The film does a good job demonstrating that when politicians and the mainstream media attempt to label an entire group as something, with no caveats, you probably shouldn't believe them. If nothing else, this documentary will stand as a beacon in history for present and future conservative minded citizens and journalists in what appears to be a sea of liberal bias in our media today. This coming from someone not affiliated with the Tea Party.

My Review Was Deleted...Here It Is Again

As a family man, business owner & heavy consumer of "news", this film was eye opening...wow. Breitbart was an amazing individual 4 uncovering the truth. MUST SEE for anyone that consumes "NEWS". It will lead you to a background check of your "news" sources. Please do NOT delete again Wapa

Why is the Post deleting positive reviews of Hating Breitbart?

Seriously, this is immature and pathetic, and only confirms what Breitbart warned us of.

Great Movie

Pointing out how 'the media' is such a joke and is so deep left. Anyone with-in the mainstream media platform, with half a brain, could have taken any of the points this man made and really done some good for the country and for themselves. Do I hear Pulitzer..?, instead of partisan hack?

Insightful and Thought Provoking

Regardless of your politcal leaning, you need to watch this movie. Breitbart was a lone voice in the wilderness to some and an annoying new-media "fly in the ointment" to others. Hating Breitbart exposes the hatred shown towards all citizen-journalists; however, the spotlight on Breitbart is revealing. His passion for hammering home his message was laudable, and his ability to defend his positions was something to be emulated by all. A must watch!

Really?!

Once again, for the SECOND time, my review has mysteriously disappeared. Way to prove Andrew's point of a corrupt, biased and cowardly media...well done WaPo, you played right into his hands again. Cowards.

breitbart

The Washington Post erased my review of Hating Breitbart. What is the post afraid of? Is the post trying to control and limit free speech? I am really disgusted that the Post would do this. The movie is excellent, it will open your eyes to corrypt and complicit news sources thatvare lying to America......you will be shocked

Why WaPo Do U Deleted Positive Reviews?

This was an amazingly honest insight into the bellies of the corrupt media. The Main Stream Media is injexting their bias across all platforms they control yet they do NOT realize that the consumers of their content want FACTS in their reports, NOT their BIAS or opinions. It is a must see for any and all. You walk away amazed regardless of your political leanings.

Why?

Why do you keep deleting the reviews. You are proving Breitbart to be spot on, not that we conservatives needed you to. This is one of the BEST movies I have ever seen. It makes me miss Andrew and his amazing ability to be one of the leaders of the movement taking America back. In addition it is motivating many people to join this movement and continue to destroy organizations like the Washington Post. They already look like buffoons (my apologies to all buffoons) and are quickly on the road to obscurity.

You really are shameless....

I am amused that the reviews keep disappearing. Well Breitbart had it right . Censorship of this kind is unbecoming of the media but then again you guys gave up being objective along tie ago. The movie was great the review petulant and untrue. I give this review 2 days.

Outstanding movie - Refreshing to see false narratives punctured

Breitbart showed an entire population frustrated with the muzzling, denigration, and false narratives regularly imposed by major media outlets. He gave people a vocabulary to describe the cynical framing and fabrication of issues, news, and opinions pumped through old-media pipes. He gave people a map through the biased media political mine fields. This movie is a fascinating profile of an initially reluctant hero who had the courage to stand up to the brittle and crumbling tactics used by liberals / progressives determined to foster a perpetual poverty-hostage vote-slave class. Breitbart, along with courageous folks like Brandon Darby, Anita Moncrief, and others like them are true heros of truth. I love this movie!

Shame on you

You erased my review. You really should be ashamed of yourselves, but I know you aren't. Pathological ideology packaged as new product is nothing new for the left, but the new media is here, thank God, to call you out on it.

The reviewer is clueless

Regarding the claimed racist behavior at the healthcare vote. You got it completely wrong. It was claimed that the "N" word was yelled at the congressmen 15 times. Breitbart was able to gather videos covering the entire time period during which this claim supposedly occurred in. This behavior didn't happen once, let alone 15 times. Liberals and liberal media like the WaPo and KCStar wanted it to have happened so they could marginalize good decent people from all over the country. Shame on the reviewer for trying to continue the lie. Shame on reviewer for being a liar.

Important and thrilling film

Why does the Post keep erasing positive reviews for this film? The film is important and thrilling both as entertainment and in the deepest civic sense. I mean it -- if you love the idea of America as a place where any and every individual citizen can take on corrupt institutions in the name of truth and freedom, the story could not be more exciting. The film tracks three major stories driven by the inimitable Andrew Breitbart and suppressed by the mainstream media. Breitbart exposes the collusion between the media and the institutional Left and champions citizen-journalists doing the job the media refuses to do. Breitbart, a merry warrior, embodied the classic-liberal tradition lost to the Left.

Great truth telling

Great movie. If for no other reason it has the WaPo panties in a wad to the point they keep removing good reviews. That alone is worth the price of admission plus you get to see some truth telling in the movie

Wash Po did not print my review

I see how it is... so every thing about this movie is pretty much true. The movie was excellent.

amazing and truthful

This movie is about what most people have known for years. The media is just an arm of the democrat party. They have contributed to the devastation of civility in our country. I wonder, what do they think, really think! when they read their very own propaganda? This is why most people do not believe a deceitful word they spew. This movie was excellent, we saw it yesterday. As for the jobs situation in our country, it would be a great service to this country if every main stream media person was fired and replaced by a real honest reporter. It would be so much better for all of us if we had truth in reporting, individuals that took this job seriously... for example ask questions about Benghazi. I am so glad his name lives on.

Confused About Why WaPo Keeps Deleting Reviews

There were 18 4-star reviews for this fabulous movie last night, and now I can't even find movie times at this site for this weekend. So disappointed in the Washington Post!! It's playing Regal Ballston Common Stadium 12 671 N. Glebe Road at 7:50 and 10:20pm Highly recommend it to everyone--highlights the media bias that this paper is clearly guilty of perpetrating!!!!

Great movie, must see

This is a must see movie for anyone who cares about the absolute failure of the media to objectively report the truth. Andrew lived to expose the bias of the media and he will live long in the hearts of the citizen journalists he inspired, and he will continue to give conniption fits to JournOlists everywhere. War.

Breitbart made it GREAT!

I didn't expect to like this documentary as much as I did! I think of documentaries as belonging on TV and I'm not ready to waste my movie entertainment time or money on sitting through one. But this one was delightful!! It was entertaining, informative, and riveting. I know Breitbart is hated by the left, but they're wrong, they should celebrate him! In an odd way they are the same kindred spirit -- the legitimate, old-school, left I mean, not this new, fundamentally transformed, Occupier-zombie, obama creation. That is why Breitbart so riles and frustrates the left. They recognize something in him they lost or been robbed of long ago; The rugged individualism and passionate defender of it! Go see it For yourself!

Hilarious, serious, a must-see

Andrew Breitbart was one of a kind. He was one of a kind, willing to take on the mainstream media and expose their hypocrisy. He was also willing to put himself out there, unafraid to take the hatred and vitriol that was directed at him. This movie shows it all in living color. It shows Breitbart as funny and serious, brave, bold, daring, silly, and very real. It's a must-see for anyone who cares about this country. It's also hilarious at times and very entertaining.

...Will Become More Powerful Than You Can Imagine

Next to the film itself, its hard to imagine a better tribute to Andrew Breitbart than the sniveling, scare quoted, oblivious Washington Post review - thank you Mark Jenkins. The more MSM apparats maintain the denial bubble, in this case about Andrew's deep impact on millions, the more they prove how necessary he was for working to open some intitial cracks and letting some of the fresh air of reality in to the system. Andrew left a great legacy not because of the four stories in the movie, but because he was such a pioneer that reviewers in major newspapers have to try so hard to ignore the groundswell he created that they will resort to deleting comments from the paper. We are all Breitbart.

Film . . . and Projection

Andrew Breitbart had a lot of unpleasant (and true) things to say about the Washington Post. I find it ironic, although not unexpected, that the WP hates him so much that it erased from its website all the original batch of user reviews of the film. As a student of psychology, I'd say that the WP's review is a pretty clear case of psychological projection, which tells us more about the reviewer than the reviewed. :-)

What Happened to Previous Reviews?

I notice that there were a lot more reviews of the film than there are now. What happened? Did the Wapo delete them? Mine has disappeared. Suffice it to say, Andrew would have expected just that from an established media outlet. I won't repost my review as the Post will probably simply delete it again. That in itself is an indictment of the system that Brietbart so justly attacked while he was alive.

Citizen Journalist Extraordinaire

Andrew Breitbart was, all too briefly, the finest example of a journalist in our times. This movie does a wonderful job illuminating the man who went where the rest of the media refused to go due to their extreme partisanship. For anyone who cares about truth and justice, or "speaking truth to power", or even upholds the ideal of "Question Authority", Breitbart is your blueprint and this movie is your training video, see it now!

Amazing

Andrew was simply amazing. He was one of the leaders of the new media. The left is very upset about this movie. It is difficult for them to swallow the truth of their lies and cover ups and ommissions. This is why old media like the Washington Post will be out of business or completely insignificant in 10 more years. This movie is a must see for anyone with any interest in intelectual honesty.

The William Wallace of our time...

Andrew was larger than life, fearless and understood exactly where this media leviatan's missing scales were exposed. This movie demonstrates the monochromatic media we all rely on for "news" to help shape our opinions and in an incredibly entertaining way, shows us just how to challenge the "facts" being spun and presented to us as though there is only one perspective. It's an incredibly funny and timely film, don't miss it!

Important

An important and actually thrilling film for Americans who value their democratic citizenship and rights. Andrew Breitbart challenged the ideological monolith that is the mainstream media and its relentless pursuit of "Narratives," i.e., themes which advanced the Progressive/liberal agenda and which misrepresented and even slandered dissenting or challenging points of view. If you get your news only from the major media -- newspapers and television or NPR/PBS -- this film may rock your perceptions of journalism in America. By chronicling three sensational stories of the past few years broken by the tireless and ebullient Breitbart, the film is also cracklingly entertaining.

Why do they Hate him so?

Extremely informative. This film touches on some powerful issues with new media and how Breitbart managed to destroy ACORN, union leaders and Congressman Weiner. He also manages to show the liberal media bias, and it shows how they misrepresent his every word. Keith Oberman's loathing for him surprised me. There were moments in the film where Breitbart seemed extreme, but by sticking to straightforward truths and his accomplishments his credibility was preserved. The film shows us that he will leave a legacy, that many will aspire to fill in new media. It's a shame we lost him when we did because someone always needs to stir the pot, and he was quite good at it.

Loving Breitbart

Hating Breitbart laid out the inherent problems with the way the narrative is shaped today by both pop culture and the MSM. Breitbart serves as an "everyman" that the viewer follows as some of the most explosive stories of the last 3 years unfold. It captures the vitriol he faced for pushing back, and the overall humor of the man behind the most dramatic shakeup of the institutionalized left's hold on what the public has access to and their chronic malfeasance. And like Andrew himself, the movie contrasts what the MSM says, and what the truth actually is. This is more than an election time movie, it is truly evergreen and a must see to all who want to understand how the media attempts manipulate public opinion to meet their own narrative

True journalism

This movie has been underrated by the liberals before me. The truth will set the media free to do their jobs. I found this movie to be FANTASTIC but sad because our hero ANDREW is gone. I even bought the DVD so i can watch it over and over again. GO ROMNEY RYAN 2012

An Evergreen Must See

The official review reads more like a critique of Breitbart himself rather than the movie or its message. The movie lays out, much the way Andrew himself laid out a story, and lets the bias and malpractice of the media speak for itself. This "review" ironically enough, exactly underscores the point of the movie. Though Breitbart serves as the focal point of the movie, he really serves as a the "everyman" for how the media has tried to manipulate the news cycle rather than report it. We have a birds-eye view of some of the biggest stories of the last few years and watch as the players involved work overtime to push their personal opinions and bias on the public. An evergreen movie that is a must see/own.

MatthewJLB

Propaganda for a dead man. Movie was sparsely attended and only ones there were already fans of this guy. Ordinary people will wonder what the point of the movie is and probably not find it worth the cost of parking, let alone the movie ticket. Save your money or go watch something more entertaining or insightful. This is just PR for a guy who cannot even make use of it any more. Breitbart is gone, and good riddance.

Wow

Nice to see that CNN and other left wing media outlets willingly edit out vital news information and distort stories to fit their narrative. Big media is on its way out. People want the truth. I loved the movie and I think Breitbart was a courageous man.

Left-Leaning Moviegoer Loves This Film

As a life-long democrat, I LOVED this movie and am disappointed in the Post's biased review. This is a review of the author's personal contempt for Andrew Breitbart rather than a critical review of the film itself. It is a hypocritical and banal attempt to maintain some level of credibility as so many in the mainstream press lose more and more every day by refusing to cover stories that don't fit a particular agenda--it's not surprising most media outlets feel threatened by it. Hating Breitbart is an energetic, entertaining piece that shows a courageous man so passionate about exposing media bias that he was willing to risk being discredited through lies and personal attacks. Now the Post attempts to discredit a courageous filmmaker as well

According to Mark Jenkins, the Post isn't biased

The Post's Mark Jenkins inadvertently contradicts his denial of media left wing bias by describing other prominent conservative media personalities like Mel Gibson as "troublesome". Would he describe Whoopi Goldberg, etc. as "troublesome"? You know the answer. Jenkins lives in the liberal bubble, so thinks he and his fellow liberal "journalists" are "centrist". I put "journalists" in quotes because more and more of the public see them as mere appendages of the Democratic Party spin machine, which is why their publications, like Newsweek, are dying.

only truth

I saw the extended trailer, wow. What a powerful movie exposing the corrupt and complicit mainstream media. The film not only exposes the lies of outlets liuke CNN, NCB and MSNBC but also exposes the lies of corrupt Senators and Congressmen. It is a film that exposes for all to see that media outlets like the Washington Post are more interested in shaping public opion to fit their narrative then doing the actual job of exposing corruption and bringing to public light the lies-malfeasance of elected officials. Was Breitbart murdered? Others can answer that. There is no denying that Breitbart exposed the lies and corruption of elected leaders and corrupt media. This movie is a must see. Thomas Jefferson and Edward Murrow would love i
