You need not be Mexican to appreciate the inner workings of an ancient, traditional, modern culture all mixed with the opinions and interpretations of those who have the Mayan, Aztec, Toltec, Huichol, Tarahumaran, and Spanish blood running through their veins. The human fabric that makes the country is dissected, explored, cherished, expressed in meaningful songs that are woven in this tapestry called "Hecho en Mexico". I left the theater with thoughts joy because I love my motherland, of pride for all that I felt connected to, and of anguish when I realize that Mexico is at the crossroads of imminent change and this ever evolving place still holds its identity, culture, and wonderful people.
