taken 2 shows turkey like an arabian country ( egypt ,ıraq..) there are lots of women with black turban , murat 131 police cars.. it doesnt respect true .. istanbul is more modern than most of the middle east countries and the film shows only mosques and ruin buildings, streets ,wracks like 2nd class countries.. when we see the american scenes we see the modern big buildings. beauties.. i think Olivier Megaton made a movie without knowing a word about istanbul
I think it is worth seeing on the big screen.
The same as "Taken," I thought the movie was innovative in seeking out the bad guys. Liam although an older movie actor played a believable part. The movie had a good story and had excellent moving type action. I thought the movie goers at end of the movie were going to applaud. My wife and I enjoyed the movie.
WaPost - why do you put up with a movie reviewer who gets it wrong so many times? **If you liked "Taken" you will like "Taken 2." Simple. Love the family relationship that is built upon, Liam, wife, & daughter; it takes the 1st movie and expands on that theme. But obviously it's all the action, driving, crashes, threats, fights etc. (by both Liam and daughter Maggie Grace) that really rock. & BTW, Liam's eyes are cobalt blue not "greenish blue." Ann couldn't even get that right! Go and see - it's fun!
We have discovered the solution to the Post's food and movie critics. If they like it, stay away; if they hate it, go and enjoy. We just got back from this movie and I think the Post movie critic must have been stuck in the snack line during the duration of this fast-paced movie. Good car chase scenes, great fight scenes, suspense, a really good popcorn flick. And one of the few movies where the young woman (Kim) could hold her own instead screaming and fainting Go. Enjoy. Forget the critic.
