Another winner for Sandra Bullock.
Excellent on every level. Please see this movie. You will not regret it. Sandra Bullock should receive an Oscar nomination for this role. I saw it alone and I plan to see it again with my husband.
1st of all what a great story, which is indeed true, told in a funny, sad, thoughtful, way, and with a great cast:Sandra Bullock, Kathy Bates, Tim McGraw, et al. If you're from a southern family or know southerners this film captures those familiar moments. My son loved it too, and we thought we could get around the crowd by going to a matinee, but it was a sell out - full up. The audience cheered, laughed, applauded, and I'm sure teared up too. My hat's off to Sandra Bullock - she has indeed become a well rounded actress. You believe her as she shows her tenderness & toughness toward her "black" son. What a great family movie for the holidays. This, I believe, will become a classic. Enjoy.
this is truly one of the best movies that i've seen this year, from the superb cast to the acting to the storyline.
