The Marvel Comics character returns for a Tokyo-set adventure, complete with yakuza, samurai and ninjas.
They say a good actor can raise the acting of his fellow actors. If so, this is the exception that proves the rule, because except for Hugh Jackman's acting, this movie stinks. The acting is bad and the plot nonsensical. Bad guys are the ones wearing sunglasses and showing off their tattoos. Other characters are currently under development. As bad as it all was, the screenplay is the worst. At one point, the character who envisions the deaths of those around her envisions Wolverine's death, saying to Wolverine, "Your heart was in your hand. IT WASN'T BEATING!" Only at this moment did I realize that I was watching not an action movie, but a comedy. This movie is terrible. Not since the Blair Witch Project has The Post been so wrong.
