I have been here a few time through my life and I have loved it everytime. the only draw back is that if you dont know exactly where it is then you will have a hard time tryint to find it.
Hidden on the other side of the river and up a hill, the Anacostia Museum is under visited and under appreciated. Like many attractions east of the river, nobody other than local residents visit. And that is a great loss to the rest of the city. Go see the museum - you'll learn a lot and enjoy the process.
