Housed in the nation's oldest railroad station, this facility is packed with maps, historic photos and artifacts documenting the history of the B&O. The working model railroad may be the highlight. Visitors can view parts of the 50-foot turntable and walk through a 1927 caboose. A visit to this museum makes a good side trip when you want to go antiquing or browsing in Ellicott City and need a target for the kids.
