This museum has a great mission and lots of great objects of history.
This museum is great for the whole family. There are places for the kids to play games and have activities, but also you can learn a hole lot of information too.
What a great treat for the young and old. Let your imagination soar as you experience the vast display of aircraft. If the newest movie out in the theatres haven't inspired you to go yet, then go see both and you won't be disappointed! Bring your kids or grandchildren and stimulate their imagination. I wish I had the nerve to lay on my back under the aircraft and imagine they are in the sky around me. Or that I flying in one of those old planes and setting out for new adventures.
I have been to this muesem twice, and I had an awesome experience! Definetly a fun time out for the whole family!
This is one of the most amazing and historical Museums Ive ever seen!
I was there only once but I think that "it's Beatiful", you can see a lot of history in only one place. If I can return to DC I will visit again....
I have read many times that the Air and Space Museum is: 1) The most visited of the Smithsonian museums 2)The most visited museum in the world. (If true, I wish it would be stated here) In any case, it's one tremendous place to visit.
You and your kids won't forget your visit to this museum. It is jam-packed with fascinating displays and artifacts. Lots to see and do.
It's great and look like in the spaces .
The museum is a bit dated, with exhibits on space exploration that leave us at about 1990 which, for a astro-enthusiast like myself left me wanting. All things considered I'd recommend it for an older person or child as it still strike the imagination and could be a powerful reminder of youth.
