A Delight for Young and Old
My wife and I make it a point to go every year because this event is pure magic. Beautiful blooms, wonderfully crafted miniature buildings and figures, and of course the trains all make this a special occasion. Regardless of your age, this event is worth a visit. Combine this with a visit to other Mall museums, the skating rink, and the Yule Log and you have a day of wonderful memories.
Variety
The Botanic Gardens offer a wide variety of exhibits, from a jungle to a desert, from an outdoor garden in summer to winter holiday plants inside. It's a beautiful place for a walk.
