Most welcome addition

Festivals usually rule the summer-concert landscape, but in the Washington area, there are surprisingly few. There probably will be the Virgin Mobile FreeFest (details to be announced, we hope), but there's always room for more, which makes this newcomer a welcome addition. Capitol Groove, sponsored by Local Headphones, is a modest entry onto the festival scene -- the confirmed bands are all local, including atmospheric rockers Drop Electric, young techno DJ Lighwaves and electro-rock newcomers Redline Graffiti. The Fairgrounds near Nats Park is the location, and it'll be nice to hear something besides a Tom Petty cover coming from that area for once.
