Sure, it's hard to imagine a night at Nationals Park when the hits keep coming (and coming) to the crowd's delight. But Elton John and Billy Joel, touring again this summer, will see to that when they pair up for the inaugural music concert at the new ballpark. No strangers to major league spectacles -- Joel even recruited Paul McCartney to bring down the curtain on New York's Shea Stadium last summer -- the piano men plan to pick up where they left off, performing alone and together during a memory-jarring three-hour show. Lots of surprises? Don't count on it. But sparks of spontaneity are always apparent when John and Joel face off on opposing keyboards or when their respective and seemingly endless hit lists give way to shared passions, a la the Beatles.
