Rapper Talib Kweli and singer Res have covered increasingly diverse stylistic ground throughout their careers and, after collaborating occasionally along the way, now created a band together. Kweli emerged at the beginning of the independent hip-hop movement, becoming one of its foremost talents and flirting with mainstream recognition through hits such as "Get By" and work with Kanye West.
