Victor Manuelle has played at Constitution Hall, hosted the Latin Grammy Awards and performed acapella at the legendary Celia Cruz's funeral. On April 20, he's performing at an unlikely venue: The Hilton in Tyson's Corner. Since it's in a hotel ballroom, this won't be a laid-back all-seated concert -- Manuelle's rousing vocals will have the dance floor moving.

The Washington Post's Richard Harrington wrote of Victor Manuelle:

Victor Manuelle's 1986 debut was right out of a music lover's fantasy: On the night of his prom, he jumped up on stage (on a dare) to sing with one of his idols, salsa great Gilberto Santa Rosa. Rather than being offended, Santa Rosa took Manuelle under his wing. Now one of the leading singers of romantic salsa, the New York-born, Puerto Rican-bred Manuelle is known for his dazzling ability to improvise.
