Brazilian guitarist Carlos Barbosa-Lima plays music by the Beatles and Cuban classical guitarist and composer Leo Brouwer, including Brouwer's Guitar Quintet (joined by the Sunrise String Quintet) and Micropiezas for two guitars (joined by NYC-based guitarist Larry del Casale).
Mother-daughter duo, classic pianist Dionne Laufman and actor Robin Weigart, perform in this concert inspired by Yale Professor and poet, Robert Penn Warren's quote: "The secret subject of every story worth telling is time, but you can never say its name." Presented by the Washington Conservatory.
