I've been going to the Black Cat since 1995 or so, and I can't say as I've ever had a bad experience with a bartender there, so either the previous reviewer was extremely unlucky or did something to warrant poor treatment. As for the bathrooms, it's a rocker bar, what do you expect?

Rude staff

The bartenders here are extremely rude and hostile. I've never been mistreated by bar staff before and I was shocked and mortified at the verbal abuse hurled at me by the rude antisocial staff that work here. Additionally, the bathrooms are filthy. I wouldn't recommend this bar to friends.
