As a monologue, this performance of the classic Christmas ghost story is as Dickens intended for the tale to be told. It is a new experience for most fans of the story. Though nicely costumed and staged, smaller kids accustomed to more stage play will struggle to stay engaged through much of it. But for fans who have never experienced the story in this way, it leaves you smiling - and even a little misty - as if Tiny Tim himself were there to be carried by a jubilant and redeemed Scrooge at the end. You'll be glad you did, and you'll resolve to bring a friend next year to experience it.
