Well, if Brian McKnight (the dead man) sang to me like that, I would have probably been one of his fiancés at his funeral too!! His voice was unbelievably mesmerizing. All the female actresses sang well too. And the kids that danced were exhilarating--moving at the speed of lightning. The show overall was totally funny. Way to go Hinton for your first production in DC. Look forward to others.
Love Lies offered great entertainment with its great singing, good acting and wonderful dancing. Screen scenery was absolutely fabulous! No like I have ever seen on stages in Washington, DC (only in NY). While the entertainment was excellent, the message, in my opinion, the play intended to portray didn't really come together until the end.
