The audience enjoyed the reign of poop. I guess that's Washington in the summer.
I saw a rehearsal of this show, and have to say -- it was a lot of fun. 11 songs and 2 dances in only abut 50 minutes -- all of them fully realized and performed with gusto. The show is about more than just the monkey, and the themes are well established, presented and resonate long after you leave the theater. I see this show moving on to bigger and better things...
