The very definition of trite

Nothing new or interesting about this work. It looked like a proposed episode for "Fame". For some reason, the choreographer thought that there was something profound about the difference in the sound made by running a microphone over a board and running a microphone over tape. Seriously! Given its short length, 50 minutes, it wasn't worth going all the way to the Kennedy Center to see.
