Though it's been billed as D.C.'s first gay sports bar, Nellie's draws a remarkable neighborhood mix: black and white, straight and gay, casual and sharply dressed. There are numerous TVs and a large rooftop deck. Happy hour at Nellie's runs on a beat-the-clock system: $1 Miller Lite, bottled beers and rail vodka drinks from 5 to 6, with prices increasing $1 per hour until 8.

Nellie's certainly has the best rooftop in dc, and the cutest bartenders. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side and weak, but maybe it's because I'm spoiled by JRs STRONG cheap drinks...still, on a nice night no place is more festive than Nellie's roof top! Come join the party!
