Cap City Bartoberfest Bar Tour

'

Editorial Review

The popular fall bar tour, now in its 18th year, moves from Midtown (the area around Farragut North) to Chinatown.

Deals at all seven participating bars include $2 Coors Light, $3 Blue Moon and discounted appetizers, plus a souvenir koozie for the first 200 participants. Sign in at the Greene Turtle between 1 and 6, then move on to Bar Louie, Rocket Bar, R.F.D., Clyde's, the Irish Channel or Penn Quarter Sports Bar, all of which have specials until 9 p.m.

Bartoberfest isn't really an organized crawl (with a schedule, etc.), so your wristband gets you beers at as many or as few bars as you like. Still, if you haven't visited some of these places, the tour is a good way to see them - you might even find a new hangout for hockey season.

Save $3 off admission if you bring school supplies (lined paper, pens, notebooks, etc.), which will be donated to local charity Horton's Kids
