F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Conference

Please note: This event has already occurred.
This 16th annual event (8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) boasts numerous workshops (on the novel, literature and music, several nonfiction and the memoir to name a few) and readings and discussions, not to mention book signings, with distinguished authors, including Eugenia Kim, E. Ethelbert Miller and Richard Peabody. Highlights of this year's program are sure to include the keynote speech by Maureen Corrigan, book critic for NPR's "Fresh Air" and a professor of literature at Georgetown University, who will reflect on one of her favorite novels, "The Great Gatsby," along with the award ceremony for and reading by the 2011 honoree, Maxine Hong Kingston, author of "The Woman Warrior: Memoirs of a Girlhood Among Ghosts" and "Tripmaster Money."
