From 4 to 7 p.m. daily, the Barking Dog takes $1 off all its beers, house wines, rail drinks and appetizers. Might not seem like such a big deal, except that $2 beers are offered all day, every day. Selections change daily, so it could be the Corona-esque Landshark Lager from Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville empire or a fine draft from the Silver Spring-based Hook and Ladder Brewing Co.
