Jazz pianist Marcus Johnson is one of the kings of Washington's smooth jazz scene, and he performs hour-long sets at Juste Lounge at 8 and 10 on Wednesday nights.

The evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with happy hour -- everyone gets two free drinks between 5 and 7 p.m., and all drinks are half-price until 8. A second round of free drinks runs from 9 to 10.

Doors open at 5. Admission is free before 7 p.m., or with a pass from justelounge.com. Otherwise, the cover is $15.
