Owned by a group that includes Joe Englert, who's behind much of the H Street NE revival, and the guys from DC9, Rock and Roll Hotel plans to offer a mix of local and national touring acts. Some shows will be 18 and over, though access to the second-floor bar will be limited to those 21 and older.
The "Hotel" part of the name comes from a series of themed rooms that can be rented out for private parties. Sorry, but no overnight stays are allowed.
