Classic bistro fare is served up in a loud and fun party atmosphere.
Alas, Bistrot Du Coin has let success go to its head. We have been going 2-3 times a year since they opened, and have always found the food above average. We expect to wait for a table in this restaurant, but not be ignored. Last night, a Sunday night, we politely declined the available table by the hostess stand and said we preferred to wait in the bar for something better. A 20 minute wait, according to the hostess. Then we watched as half a dozen couples came in and were seated. Some of these may have been reservations, but some were after visibly declining the same table as us. We inquired at one point ' "you haven't forgotten about us, have you?" Didn't help. After watching two more couples get seated, we tipped the bartender and left.
