I was one of the first customers at Amina Thai. The food has always been made with the freshest and finest ingredients. Every chance I get to introduce someone else to the excellent cuisine at Amina, they've always agreed that it's excellent It's not the best Thai food I've ever had, but it's always fresh. The owners and staff are always friendly. Do not be surprised if they remember what you ordered the last time you visited them. I've never written a review before but wanted to support this excellent this business. The place is small and gets crowded, specially on Fridays and Saturdays. A testament to how good it is.
I have been coming to Amina Thai for 5 years--the food has always been made with the freshest and finest ingredients, the curries are to die for, and it is by far the best Thai food I've ever had. If you want Chinese/Thai food, go to the food court! Here you get the real deal. The owners and staff are always friendly and go out of their way to thank you for coming. Even though delivery is inconsistent, I am happy to go and pick up my food to support this local business. I'm happy they can squeeze in as many tables as possible--that means I can eat, too!
"Amina Thai sucks" by blspruce (1 review) March 08, 2009 - Doesn't like it - I think the food are okay.I like Thai Fried Rice. The curries are not my type.Pad thai is tasteless. The problem is customer service.I alwaysorder for delivery. One day,I ordered as usual for delivery. A lady picked up. I gave her my address and she said the driver won't go there.I knew she just made that up because that was the fifth times that I ordered for delivery. She had an attitude. She said called back two hours later. When I called back, her answer was the same. She told me to call back again. This time it's over my patience limit. So, I told her I am gonna order from another place. She said "ok..bye" and just hanged up.I was so upset.So..yeah they lost a cust
Our latest visit was a stark contrast to earlier ones. First of all we tried to make a reservation for a Sat eve and were told we could not that it would be no problem. We arrived and saw reserved tables - which made us very angry. The owner said later that only 2 tables can be reserved in advance - a very poor policy. The restaurant was extremely crowded and the tables are so close -barely 18 inches between tables in a small room. The food was subpar - seems that while prices are holding, cooking and quality is declining. the hot/sour seafod salad was mostly carrots, onions and celery. The basil fish was a big piece of over coated fish in a sickening sweet sauce. the pud thai was devoid of shrimp, very ordinary. We won't be back.
Small, clean, friendly and DELICIOUS! Our favorite for Thai food in this area.
