doesn't cut it

Wasn't impressed by their Saturday brunch. Ordered the fried chicken and waffles-the chix was chix sticks, and the waffle was chewy. Maybe good enough for tourist stopping by via train, but not worth going to when there are so many better options in the city. Also ordered a panini sans cheese, they said cannot do because its already together. Not a fresh approach to preparing food. The corn bread was cold and chewy too.

Great Food, Good Service

I have no idea what happened when these other people went to B. Smith's, but I have been checking them out for years and I love it! The complimentary cornbread melts in your mouth. I will say that the BBQ was a bit dry the last time I went, but the tasty yams and delightful mac and cheese more than made up for it!

Disappointed

I visited this restaurant during inauguration week and was highly disappointed. Even with reservations it took us at least 20 minutes to be seated. When were were seated, the table was not completely set. It took another 10 minutes for the waitress to bring water to the table. Another 20 minutes for her to take our order. We almost didn't get any bread. They were in such a hurry to do nothing that our waiter and the bustboy bumped into each other spilling drinks and their glasses all on my nephew and our table and all we were offered was another round of desserts when the desserts we had weren't fresh. The food didn't taste as if it was freshly prepared and it was over priced. Does B Smith know her restaurant is being ran like this?
