Fine for lunch

When you're looking for a quick bite to eat with co-workers, reasonable prices and quick-moving wait staff are paramount. Bangkok One has both of these. The menu also offers many vegetarian options, which gives Bangkok One another star from me. The decor could use some work, but in comparison to other lunch spots in the same price range, it's pretty nice.

Two reviews in here, one good, one bad.... I am the tie breaker

I joined a friend here for lunch the other day her comment summed up the experience. 1st -- "I'm concerned that the prices are so cheap"... $8 for an entree, with shrimp. 2nd -- "I get this make yourself Pad Thai from XYZ store and it taste just like this". Is that the kind of Pad Thai you expect from a Thai restaurant? Um…no. We had to ask for lime wedge & crushed nuts. Wrong. 3rd -- A man scurries by our table and grabs our money, saying he will take it for us, while never making eye contact. "OK, if you work here!" my co-diner says4th -- "I won't go back there again" she said as we left. Amen, sister. You get what you pay for. Apparently, I paid for a thriving MSG headache 1hr later. However, service was excellent.

Awesome Food, awesome people

Food was fantastic, could not have asked for anything better. I have been to many thai places in DC-VA area but but this place is my favorite so far. I purposly asked for not to deep fry my food and exactly that's what they did. I will like to go to Bangkok one again.
