Don't fly down Annapolis Road, or you may miss the Best Pie Company. The simple takeout joint, near a car lot and tucked behind a hill, spotlights traditional all-American pies. Cream pies, lemon meringue and lemon chess adorn the refrigerated case, but don't forget about the hefty fruit pies with their flaky crusts and often locally sourced fruit (though out of sight, they are listed on the white board hanging behind the counter). Whole pies start at $20.99
