We did not eat, our group of 4 enjoyed a wide range of beers. The beer choices are exceptional. Small sample glasses if you like, but we ordered full (1/2 liter) glasses. It can be crowded and cramped, but it's also real laid back and fun. And the staff actually knows a fair bit about beer. As a place to stop and sit and enjoy a drink or three, it's great. Definitely returning.
As a caveat to my poor review, this restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who liked it. However, these are my impressions: The service was perfunctory and the food was terrible. The atmosphere was not at all intimate; I felt like I was in a cafeteria. I don't know if my date and I just happened to order the two worst meals on the menu but I haven't had such bad food in years. We each had two bites of our meal and asked for teh check. I will not be going back.
